Here are a couple of fan encounters of the set! they are pretty detailed and it's cool to know what happened at every minute!
Here's the first one from bellafira's twitter!* They r really short of extras today. The Italians were really unhappy about the long day yesterday and most of them decided not to return
* Kristen arrived on set about 5 min ago no sign of our favorite vamp yet
* They r filming bella trying to get through crowd but on a side street
* They are now filming the camera going through the crowd. Bellas point of view(p.o.v.) I have worked on several films in the art dept.
* Kristen back on set they are going to film her going through crowd but from above. They are trying 2 reflect more light into the scene so it Matches yesterdays shot. Bellas path is well lit to have it stand out from the rest of us in the shadow
* Bells running scene completed and they r now setting up for anther shot it looks like it is going to be a close up of their embrace
* Both body doubles are in plce to check camera positions and lighting. My call is that r favorite vamp is in the next scene. Will let u know
* Crew just caught someone taking pics not very happy about it
* Ladies this is the reunion kiss that u all have been dreaming about. Kristens close up I am sure that rob will be after.
* They are making us all look at the church so none of us can see it. We are supposed to be watching a parade in front of the church
* Looks like I will have to wait to see the full smooch like you guys. I did have a fabulous view of it yesterday so I am totally content
* Still rehearsing embrace with the doubles cecking camera shots and lighting
* There may have been some airbrushing but the abs looked pretty real. I have not been able to see any of the pics online yet
* Edward is on set the are about to start the scene. The fans are going onto a tizzy but are trying to stay calm
* They are rehearsing the scene and both seem a little nervous the kiss looks like it will be a good one. Yeah Baby!!!!!!
* Hair and makeup doing final touches clock bell tower ringing and extras still giddy
* It is the real thing ladies!!! They are shooting a closeup of bella during the embrace. The next shot should be a closeup of rob.
* We could watch the rehearsal bit the are about to start rolling and everyone jas to look at the damn church
* Omg he is shirtless again!!!! Bells ran screaming at him”no Edward don’t!” I got a better look and his abs do look a little airbrushed
* I overheard an extra say” I need a cigerette and I don’t even smoke!” very true we r all a little breathless
* They just finished the 3rd take. Bells dialog keeps changing a bit - “don’t, no, get out of the light”
* As soon as the director yells cut - the extras whip around to try and catch a glimpse. Whiplash in unionson
* Rob ducks into the building after every take the guy seems embarrassd by all of us drooling and gaping. Poor guy
* Director did somthing very smart and sly. He had 2 big trucks move in and blk view of doorway then sent all the extras to lunch then he Filmed all of robs closeup & dialog during the reunion/embrace while all the extras were gone so he wouldn’t hv to do the scene
* With everyone watching.that’s a lot of pressure for an actor. I caught a glimpse, but was made to move.
* Extras confirmed makeup artist was airbrushing robs 6 pack. They could see it from where they were standing
* No pics from me - I really don’t want my phone taken. They are now setting up anther angle of the reunion. They want to get the embrace from All angles. Can’t wait 2 see final juicey product on film
* Rob & kristen back from lunch and on set getting ready for another scene at the doorway. I have a clear view of the whole thing. Yippee!!!
* Just when I thought this day couldn’t get any better they are doing another soot of the shirtless scene!
* Today is last film day in piazza tomorrow they are supposed to do outside the city shots. Don’t know where exactly.
* We just filmed 2 more shots of k running through crowd with camera following her. Rob left about 40min ago (right after shirtless scene)sigh
* K left about 10 min ago &?was embarrased when the extras were applauding once the director shouted “cut”
* Just filmed the scene where the italian family is supposed to be looking oddly at r & k who I don’t think are coming back to set today
* We finished at 7:30 last night so I am expecting to stay that long again
* They r light robs body dbl again so I think that he is coming back. Yeah!!!
* Keeping my fingers crossed. Everyone now cheering for the crew and the a.d. Roco. We are all sitting on steps & cheering for the crew, chris
* We must be done they are filming us cheering for the DVD. Chris is going to say a few words
* The ad is thanking us in Italian the extras are now singing in italian
* Still singing. Pretty funny. Now cheering again for dvd
* They want us to shout in unison for the DVD bonjourno, new moon, arriverdichi! Pls excuse my butchered italian
* We are Stijl eagerly awaiting roberto. Hoping that he will say a few words to the fans
* Battery dying but rob is definitely returning to film the doorway scene again. Will keep u posted
* They r passing out call sheets for tomorrow wish I could get myhands on one.
* Yellow Porsche arrived!!!!!
* The are setting everything up for a major photo of crew extras car etc
* They are signing up extras for tomorrow for additional shots. Have no idea what they are. U should follow vampirefreak to get the scoop.

* Kristen just arrived on set. Wearing grey sweater and blue jeans. Looked relaxed.She waved at us! Yay! She is very pretty! *smiling*
* The fountain is on, water running!

* “cut” Filming was out of my view. Kristen just walked across set and back to hotel (not far). Was wearing green shirt, blue jeans.
* Filming scene of procession of red cloaked hooded extras carrying red/yellow checked flags
* Kristen back on set. Walked from hotel to set, about 100 metres. Wearing same grey sweater as earlier. She waved at us again!
* Dont think rob is gonna be on set. We thought it was rob getting out of car with kristen at hotel, dont think it was now though.
* Robs stunt double just arrived. Alan. Wearing dark blue shirt. Assume own. Not in costume?
* Kristens stunt double just arrived. Both at clocktower door. So robs double will be shirtless soon..
* O m g alan, robs double even runs his hand through his hair the same! Lol. Even though i know its not really them, its really cute seeing them kiss!
* Black sheets surrounding clocktower door. I can see a glimse. Still rob and kristens doubles.
* Ok, so can see feet underneath black sheets.. And theres 4. 2 pairs of white ballet flats + 2 pairs of black trainers hmm
* “now with the actress” hmm, instead of with her double?! Damn i wish i could see more than their feet!
* The extras are being made to turn round like yesterday for robs shirtless scene!
* O m g yep that was kristen shouting! Yep thats rob and kristen behind those black sheets! Cant tell exactly what she shouted but that was def kristen!
* Crew packed up everything except black sheets around clocktower door. Can hear voices and see shoes but dont know if its rob and kristen or their doubles?!
* Heard kristen! Again cant hear rob but he’s there! Cant tell what they’re saying. Obv hadnt gone back to hotel as first thought
* Yep thats definitely rob! Security r placing barriers round the cafe, aswell as the ones at end of road
* Ok, so voices stopped, saw a glimse of rob and white shirt *squee* for a split second then black sheets taken down, .. And just rob and kristens doubles
* (robs double wears dark blue shirt) Rob and kristen must have got back to hotel before black sheets taken down.
* Just spoke to extra @bellafira and others. Rob and kristen repeated scene 5 times with extras (described as ‘intense’ expressions) then extras were sent
* Hey, sorry my phone is rubbish and battery died. Lots to tell, set related and other things! Scandal!
* Ok, so after my last tweet, extra confirmed kristen/bella screamed “edward!” as per the book! Yay!
* Then rob and kristens doubles came over and chatted and posed for pics. On my digital camera, not phone
* Then saw chris weitz, he waved at us. Then rob and kristens doubles came out and did reunion scene. Then red cloaked extras did procession, holding red/yellow/gold flags
* At 5.25pm kristen walked from hotel to set.wearing green shirt. She waved again and ran her fingers through her hair.. I almost melted lol
* Then kristen running through the crowd, did alot of takes, too many to count. She kept asking chris weitz if it was ok. She really showed how young she is. Kristen was extremely sweet. Sitting on the fountain inbetween takes, laughing with crew and chris
* At 6.35pm filmimg stopped. chris weitz talked to all extras and us. Saying how wonderful the support has been. Them yellow porsche drove into the piazza!
* Tomorrow they r doing retakes with kristen, ashley and porsche.
* Spoke to kristens double. She confirmed rob finished filming today
That is so awesome that they can have their phones on them enough to twitter all of this! I wish I was there:(
