Bella vs Sookie

There is a new article from Fan.com about the two vampire-lovers:

Mortal women falling for bad boy vamps isn’t exactly a novel idea. There’s something about dark, brooding — and dead — that can capture the heart of even a vampire slayer like Buffy.

But with True Blood coming back for a terrific second season, and teens all a twitter over the New Moon movie trailer, it looks like a good time to see how Sookie stacks up against Twilight’s Bella.

While Bella could have just wandered into her high school right out of a Jane Austen or Bronte sisters’ novel, Sookie’s more of a gritty girl. Sookie takes charge, and doesn’t let her love of the undead keep her from doing things her way.

Bella, however, seems to like it when an overprotective dead guy tells her what to do.

Sookie might be the better role model for young girls who have a tendency to let boys rule their worlds, but True Blood’s soft porn makes that viewing suggestion moot.

SAVE ME
The defining moment in the relationship between Sookie and vampire Bill comes right after Sookie meets her first vampire. Bill walks into her Louisiana diner, and exits with a couple that subdues him in the parking lot with silver chains while they try to drain him. Sookie comes to Bill’s rescue. For Bella, an out-of-control van in the school parking lot almost turns her into a pancake, until vampire Edward flies to her side and stops the van with his bare hand. Superman has arrived to save the damsel in distress.

MENSA MATERIAL
Bella’s a top student who matches Edward in intelligence. He may have matriculated many times in the past century, but she’s more than able to keep up with him on an academic level. Sookie, however, has more down-home common sense than book learnin’. So we’ll have to give it up for Bella.

BEST FRIENDS
Sookie puts everything on the line for her friends. When she decides to save — wait, that’s a potential spoiler… Let’s just say that this season starts with Sookie putting herself in danger to save her pal’s life. Bella? She barely remembers her friends’ names when she’s got Edward on the brain. So, she’s devoted to her fang boy, but only puts her friends first when Edward isn’t around.

Bella: 1

BLIND LOVE
Bella goes gaga the first time she sees Edward, and completely lets him control her life. If any other boyfriend was this controlling in real life, you would try to get your friend out of that relationship as quickly as possible. Instead, Bella’s fans seem to love the fact that this guy takes drastic steps, including vandalizing her vehicle, so that she does what he says. Boyfriend knows best. Meanwhile, we think Sookie might just blow the coffin lid right off Bill’s corpse if he tried to manipulate her that same way.

HOT SEX
Can we even go here with a girl who is supposed to be a role model for pre-teen and teens? Well, Bella’s ready to give it up to Edward, but he’s more of an old-fashioned kind of guy. Either that or a heck of a tease. Even when they have their first smooch, he tells her she must stay very still and not move. Sure, he’s afraid he might suck the life right out of her, but it’s still a control issue. Meanwhile, this isn’t Bill’s first rodeo with a human. He knows what to do, and things get pretty rough. But there’s something about the sexual tension between Bella and Edward that makes for a sizzling chemical reaction that’s hotter than the wild animal fling between Sookie and Bill.

Bella: 2

BREAKUP TRAUMA
In the New Moon book, Edward decides it’s better for him to get out of Bella’s life for her own safety — a decision he makes without giving Bella’s opinion a second thought. It puts Bella into a tailspin. She’s suicidal, and turns to her friend Jacob for support. Jacob, for his faults, at least accepts Bella as she is, and encourages her to be herself. Edward’s too busy trying to rein her in. She goes all depressed and suicidal. In the books, when Bill leaves Sookie she’s heartbroken, but salves the pain by hooking up with another supernatural being. If you can’t be with the one you love, Sookie knows, then you love the one you’re with. It seems like a healthier alternative to suicide and depression.
Sookie: 4
Bella: 2

VAMPING OUT
Sookie doesn’t mind romping with the undead, but she sure doesn’t want to give up her immortal soul and mortal life for him. Bella, who can’t even cope with a prom, thinks she’s ready to commit to a life that means giving up her family, and living a hellish existence. Edward wants to love her through her mortal life, and succeeds in getting his way in almost everything having to do with Bella. But on this, he caves? What the hell?
Sookie: 4
Bella: 3

KLUTZ FACTOR
Sookie may be a little clunky in her rescue methods, but she seems to be perfectly capable of not only standing on her two feet, but keeping upright at a walk. Bella falls not only for the dangerous guy, but also for any pebbles that might be lying on a path. Maybe this is her ugly duckling phase before she blooms into a real swan. But when it comes to tripping herself up, we’ve got to give it to Bella.
Sookie: 4
Bella: 4

SELF-ESTEEM SCALE
For some reason, neither one has had much luck in the past with men or boys. Yet, suddenly, once they get involved with vampires, they become irresistible to other he-creatures as well. When Bella arrives at the high school, boys are suddenly interested in her. One of her sort-of-gal-pals chalks it up to the fact that she’s the shiny new toy in school. Maybe. But there’s something there that sends Edward into a blood lust, and once the most powerful guy in school wants Bella, there’s no stopping her climb to the top of the must-have charts for the local boys. Sookie’s ability to read minds has always made her strange in the eyes of the backwoods boys. She’s had mortal boyfriends, but there’s something about her own abilities that has started to draw the supes to her side. Sookie seems pretty secure in her own skin, but Bella keeps wondering how someone so perfect as Edward could ever see something in her. Great way to keep a relationship going, Bella. Think you can handle this for all eternity?
Sookie: 5
Bella: 4

THE TRUE ROLE MODEL
Bella’s a bright girl who loves the classics and she’s a good daughter as well, but she just doesn’t have the maturity to realize that she’s in a controlling relationship. She’s too immature to cope with most of the small trials ordinary life throws in her path, yet she thinks she’s ready to make the decision to give up her soul for an eternal relationship. In Twilight, she tells her friend to take control of a situation because she’s a strong, independent woman. Yet, Bella doesn’t take her own advice. Sookie might jump in the sack with anything, even if it doesn’t have a pulse, but she stands up for what she believes. She may leap into a situation without adequate thought, but she’s an independent woman whose self-esteem doesn’t rely on what a man thinks of her.
Sookie: 6
Bella: 4

Bottom line: We admire Sookie’s spirit and independence. Bella’s a sweet girl, but she needs some maturing. She could have had plenty of adventures before she opted for the vamp life. Look at Demi and Ashton. Now there’s a guy who appreciates a strong woman.

Key New Moon points!

MTV says:

UNIVERSAL CITY, California — It’s one of the most anticipated films of 2009 and already has hundreds of fan sites devoted to it. Now, the stars of “New Moon” are revealing details about key scenes from the flick that will surprise even the most die-hard fans.

“There’s definitely a difference in scale,” marveled Robert Pattinson when we caught up with him recently. “I liked doing ‘Twilight,’ but it felt very much like an indie movie — and ['New Moon'] definitely feels like it’s a big movie.”

“Kristen [Stewart] and Taylor [Lautner] had to lobby to get this one scene in the film that wasn’t originally in — and I am forever indebted to them for that,” revealed Mike Welch, citing a beloved moment from Stephenie Meyer’s “New Moon” novel. “There’s a scene that’s in the book, the three-way date between Jacob and Bella and Mike, where Mike ends up getting sick, and it’s just very awkward.”

As for how physically ill Welch’s Mike Newton gets in the comic-relief scene, he said we shouldn’t expect projectile vomit or anything. “We’re talking a little bit,” he laughed. “A little sick.”

“We did a lot of improv on set,” Lautner said. “We’d just be in a random forest and, after Jacob transforms [into a wolf], he all of a sudden becomes very agile, and I wanted to show that, because pre-transformation, he’s clumsy. But as soon as he transforms, he’s agile. So we’d be in a random forest, and I’d be looking around going, ‘What can I do to show Jacob’s agility in here?’

“Sometimes [director] Chris [Weitz] would be like, ‘No, Taylor, we don’t want you getting hurt, spraining an ankle,’ ” Lautner recalled. “But I was like, ‘Well, how about I just jump off that and then jump through this?’ And he was like, ‘All right, give it a shot.’ ”

The immensely popular “New Moon” trailer gives us a peek at Lautner’s athleticism. It also gives us our first look at the infamous birthday scene — a moment that actor Jackson Rathbone had been eager to shoot ever since he landed the role of anguished vampire Jasper Hale.

“He unleashed the madness; it was crazy,” Peter Facinelli remembered of the day when Rathbone finally got to display his inner animal and attack Kristen Stewart’s Bella. “It took me and Kellan — non-acting — to hold him back.”

Elizabeth Reaser also got knocked over during the violent take. “Jasper, played by Jackson Rathbone, kinda loses it when Bella cuts herself,” Kellan Lutz recalled. “It’s fun to work with your friends and see a side of them that you really don’t expect. That’s where the acting comes into play. Jackson did an amazing job portraying that scene, and it was fun being my character to try and stop him.”

Speaking of favorite scenes, Greene also got to shoot hers — a high-octane moment where Alice Cullen steals a yellow Porsche in Italy. “It was really fun. I worked with a stuntman before actually driving it and learned how to do a bunch of unnecessary things that were fun, like fishtailing, and he was gonna teach me drifting,” Greene laughed. “I drove it in a scene and came about 2 inches from the wall!”

“I hate you,” a jealous Lutz joked.

“I know,” Greene said. “Oh, my gosh — everyone does right now!”

“[The whole film] looks completely different, so it’ll be interesting,” Pattinson said, looking forward to the November 20 “New Moon” release. “I’m very curious to see what it looks like.”

5 "secrets" of the cast

Here's an article from People.com about the cast's secrets.

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart Have Hidden Talents
“Rob’s an incredible guitarist and vocalist. [And] Kristen can really play guitar,” reveals Jackson Rathbone, 24, who plays vampire Jasper Hale. “They’re really multi-talented artists.”

In fact, the cast’s musical interests helped the everyone bond, says Rathbone, a member of the band 100 Monkeys: “Rob Pattinson and Kristen and Nikki [Reed] would do a lot of jam sessions, and Kellan [Lutz] and Ashley [Greene] and Peter [Facinelli] would all hang out in the hotel room and play music and hang out on the set.”

Kristen and Rob Have Chemistry – On and Off Screen
The pair – who play a couple on screen – were seen smooching in Vancouver recently, but their cast mates insist there is no hot-and-heavy romance – yet, anyway.

“Obviously there’s chemistry: They’re Bella and Edward!” says Justine Wachsberger, 24, who plays vampire sympathizer Gianna in the film. But “they just seem like great friends.”

Rathbone adds that whenever the cast is together, Pattinson and Stewart “didn’t treat each other any differently [than the other cast members]. We’re all equals in the room. It’s like a family.”

The Most Talked-About Relationship on Set Was … a Bromance
“Me and Mike [Welch] (Mike Newton in New Moon),” jokes Justin Chon, 28, who plays Bella’s pal Eric Yorkie. “Me and Mike had a bromance. We just loved to hang out together and talk about stupid things.”

The Cast Is Still Grounded
Twilight actors with big and small roles all hang together at least part of the time, and they shared a love of exploring the beauty of the locations in Canada and Italy.

“You would expect diva behavior from them since they’re so big now, but they’re really nice and down to earth,” says Wachsberger.

Fans Should Be Salivating for New Moon
“I think it’s going to be better than the first one,” says Chon. “I think [director] Chris Weitz is going to do a really good job with it. I was really impressed. I think it’s going to be amazing.”

Adds Wachsberger: “I can’t give away any spoilers, but expect the unexpected.”

What fan hasn't been salivating for New Moon since the day after Twilight came out?

Adam Lambert in Twilight?

I do love his singing but as a character in any of the Twilight movies? I'm not so sure about that one. Sure he looks the part but, I don't know?

Here's an article from The NY Post:

He’s got the dark, mysterious and brooding persona required to play a vampire, so perhaps casting Adam Lambert as one of the blood suckers in “The Twilight Saga” isn’t the worst idea I’ve ever heard. Snagging a role in the tween-tastic franchise seemed to be on the top of Adam’s agenda as he got up close and personal with “Twilight” director Catherine Hardwicke at the Hollywood Life Awards, where he won Young Hollywood Artist of the Year.

Unfortch for this “American Idol,” being sequestered for months at behest of the reality competition has prevented him from discovering that Catherine isn’t involved with any of the future installments. But in true Adam fashion, he brushed off the bad news…or rather, licked it off.

Fakers

Here's an article on Emma Watson's supposed interviw about how Robbie and Kristen are a true life couple, which is a load of crap and we all knew it from day one!

Here's the article from Perez Hilton on how he posted about it being true and now is sorry:

We just received this email from Emma’s publicist stating that the whole interview was fabricated.

Says the Harry Potter star’s rep, “As you may be aware a Russian Magazine entitled I Love You has run a fictitious article about Emma Watson. This interview never took place with this magazine nor any other magazine and these quotes have been entirely made up. There is no truth in any of the comment and it is highly unprofessional of any publication to have done this. We are in the process of dealing with the magazine and this article, but please ask you not to reprint it in part or in full as it is pure fabrication from start to finish”.

and that's pretty much how every other website looks too.

10.6 Million

Yes, that is the number of times we fans have streamed the New Moon trailer on our computers. It's no surprise to me and I think that it will just keep on growing. There are so many things going through our heads about things shown in the short minute and forty eight seconds they expect us to live on.

Here's an article from MTVmoviesblog

That headline pretty much says it all. I have to say, I’m impressed. You Twilighters clearly love yourself some vampire romance. In just a single week, Summit Entertainment’s “New Moon” trailer reached 10.6 million video streams across launch partners MTV and MySpace.

The social networking site broke some big records, with 4.2 million online views in the first 24 hours, contributing to a total of 7.8 million streams in the first seven days. MTV didn’t exactly fare poorly, with 5.3 million viewers tuned in for the 2009 MTV Movie Awards broadcast premiere and another 2.8 million streams in the following week. The walkaway here I think is that “Twilight” continues to be insanely popular.

Twilight cast signed ottoman

They are auctioning off an ottoman signed by the cast!

It's pretty awesome actually. I wouldn't mind having it!

Kristen Stewart, Nikki Reed, and Robert Pattinson signed an ottoman that was used as a celebrity seat at Vancouver’s Fashion Week. Their signatures joined those of other celebrities.

The Ottoman is now being auctioned off to raise money for the David Suzuki Foundation. The foundation is concerned with various environmental issues like global warming.

You can place your bid on Ebay. Currently the going price is $500 (Canadian Dollars)…and you have to be a Canadian to bid on it! So Canadians, you don’t have to worry about outside bidders!

Articles

Here are all the recent articles that have been published about the movie, cast, and robbie!

From JustJared:

Taking her hit movie overseas, Ashley Greene attended a meet and greet with fans at a “Twilight” fan party at E-Werk in Berlin, Germany on Saturday (June 6).

Looking cute in a red dress with a short grey jacket, the Alice Cullen actress strolled down the red carpet as she posed for pictures and signed autographs to a mob of adoring fans.

The 22-year-old actress was joined by New Moon cast members Daniel Cudmore and Charlie Bewley. The duo will portray Volturi guards in the upcoming sequel due out in November.

The trio signed autographs and met with tons of their German fans. Ashley even ran into Ashley Tisdale on the flight to Berlin!

Meanwhile, Miss Greene and her co-star beau, Kellan Lutz, have been lined up to take part in a “Twilight” cruise” setting sail on August 8, 2010 from Seattle.

According to reports, “passengers on this special cruise will be treated to guests will be treated to a Q&A session with the stars, a photo shoot, an autograph session, and a costume ball.”

HitFix:

The secret everyone knew in Hollywood is out, “The Twilight Saga: New Moon” is coming to Comic-Con.

Summit Entertainment has not officially confirmed, but The New York Times is reporting the “Twilight” sequel will make a return visit to the venerable Hall H. Last year, thousands of screaming fans turned the presentation into something akin to a rock concert by screaming non-stop through the public debut of Bella (Kristen Stewart) and Edward (Robert Pattinson). In fact, many arrived the night before to make sure they had seats during the panel and it was the first sign, to the mainstream media at least, that this “Twilight” phenomenon might actually be something serious. Even bigger news, however, is the San Diego arrival of acclaimed filmmaker Peter Jackson.

Fueled by a slew of major wins for “Twilight” and Robert Pattinson, The MTV Movie Awards averaged 5.3 million viewers, up by 78 percent and the highest since 2004. According to Broadcasting & Cable, the Movie Awards were up a whopping 92 percent over last year in MTV’s target 12-34 demo. Once again, thanks, Robert Pattinson.

Also generating buzz for the show was Sacha Baron Cohen’s already notorious entrance as Bruno, a staged bit in which the gay fashion icon landed in an intimate position proximate to rapper Eminem’s face

RadarOnline:

Back from Vancouver and Italy where she filmed “The Twilight Saga: New Moon,” Kristen Stewart was all over the mean streets of Los Angeles this week, zooming around in her adorable Mini Cooper.

The petite actress took in business meetings in the Toluca Lake and Valley Village areas of the San Fernando Valley, visited with friends and did a fashion shoot for Allure magazine, driving herself to all her meetings in her cute-mobile.

At just 5’5”, Kristen and her Mini obviously make a great team.

MTV:

Although Kristen Stewart now finds herself elevated to the status of a big Hollywood player thanks her role as Bella Swan in “Twilight,” the actress has long insisted that she never hunted for fame when she was working to get a career in Hollywood. In fact, back when she was auditioning for her small-but-radiant role in Sean Penn’s “Into the Wild,” the then-15-year-old told Interview magazine that her early success was as much a burden as a blessing.

“Well, this is never something that I sought out. For most actors, it’s such a struggle to get work,” she told “Zathura” director Jon Favreau, who interviewed her for the story in 2005. “Once they have it, they feel that there’s an enormous amount of pressure on them to make it work, and have everyone love them. In my case, it was never like that.”

Stewart credited her grounded nature to her family, all of whom have some role in Hollywood. “My brother’s a grip. My mom’s a scriptwriter. My dad’s a director,” she said. “So, it’s like, at heart, I’m a below-the-line girl.”

Stewart also talked about how she’s had to grow up faster than a lot of her peers. When most of them were playing MASH in study hall, she was busy acting and not going to a traditional school. Because of this, she said she found that it hasn’t always been easy for her to act like a normal kid. “When I stopped going to school, I got the strongest dose of perspective,” she said. “When you’re a kid, your friends, your school, your teachers, your family — that’s your whole world, your whole existence.

“I lost all my friends but the few that were really close to me,” Stewart lamented, adding that only now, as her friends graduate high school, will they understand what it’s like to have the kind of perspective she’s had for years already.

“My friends who are still going to school are still totally caught up in it,” she said. “When they graduate, they’re going to experience the exact same thing that I did. I just went through it when I was in the seventh grade as opposed to the 12th.”

Vampires are pretty popular right now. I can’t imagine why either. Can you? The overwhelming popularity of “Twilight” can be felt in every corner of entertainment these days. Vampires are officially “in,” and everyone seems to be picking up on it. Even book publishers.

Last week, MTV Splash Page’s Rick Marshall headed down to New York City’s Jacob Javits Center to hunt for scoops at the annual BookExpo America trade show. While it seems you Twilighters will be waiting a bit longer before you see a comic book rendition of Stephanie Meyer’s series, you certainly won’t be wanting for vampire-related content in the coming months. Check out Rick’s BookExpo pictures after the jump for a look at all of the blood-sucking madness.

Exclaim News:

As Jeff Buckley fanatics likely already know, a biopic on the late singer-songwriter has been brewing for years. Several attempts have been made — one even by Brad Pitt — but so far Buckley’s mother Mary Guibert has put the kibosh on bringing the Buckley tale to the big screen. (To read a detailed history on the failed biopic check out The Playlist’s post about it here.) However, via a report from the Australian press, it appears the film is back on track and could be out as early as 2010.

According to the report, Orian Williams, who produced the biopic Control, about Joy Division’s Ian Curtis, is onboard for the Buckley film, titled Mystery White Boy, as is screenwriter Ryan Jaffe (The Rocker). The real juice here is that the list of possible actors that may play Buckley, which includes names like Jared Leto, James Franco, Robert Pattinson and James Marsden.

“Whoever gets the part will need a lot of self-discipline because they won’t be able to fake it,” Guibert said in interview. “It’s going to take a phenomenal set of skills.”

Guibert also added that she has finally come to terms with the idea of there actually being a biopic done on her late son, saying, “I have finally relented against my deep conviction that films about people should never be made until those people are long dead.”

And while all indications now seem to show that the biopic is back on course, the script is apparently nowhere near complete, and the film is still in the very early stages, making that possible 2010 release look pretty tentative.

GossipGirls:

Venturing back out for another day’s work, Kristen Stewart heads to a studio in Santa Monica, California on Thursday (June 4).

Wearing a grey t-shirt with a knot tied at the bottom paired with jeans, the Bella Swan beauty hopped out of her ride and passed by awaiting paparazzi.

Meanwhile, following the filming of “New Moon,” Miss Stewart is gearing up for roles in “K-11” and “The Runaways”.

Co-starring alongside fellow “New Moon” actress Dakota Fanning in “The Runaways,” the film is described as “a coming-of-age biopic about ‘70s teenage band The Runaways.”

Deadline Hollywood Daily:

These fresh stats are astounding. Summit Entertainment has a count of 4.2 million views for the New Moon trailer from MySpace, and another 1.6 million from MTV.com, so that’s 5.8 million conbined views in the first 24 hours from its two domestic online launch partners. By comparison, the 3rd (and last) trailer for Twilight received 3.2 million views in its first 48 hours on MySpace, piddling compared to viewership for the sequel’s trailer.

interviews!

Here are all the recent interviews with the cast

Peter:

Other co-stars:

A year ago at this time, a small independent film was shooting in Portland. It starred the little kid from “Panic Room,” the jerk from “Can’t Hardly Wait,” the best friend from “Thirteen” and the fast-talking girl from “Rocket Science.” It also featured a little-known actor, best remembered for playing Cedric Diggory in the “Harry Potter” films.

Now, “Twilight” is a worldwide phenomenon and actors like Kristen Stewart, Peter Facinelli, Nikki Reed and Anna Kendrick are all celebrating their recent big night at the MTV Movie Awards. But it’s hard to imagine any actor, ever, whose life has changed as dramatically in 12 months as Robert Pattinson’s.

When we spoke with them on the red carpet over the weekend, his “Twilight” saga co-stars told us that they’re as amazed by the transformation as they are impressed with how RPattz has handled it all.

“Rob cannot be in public and be static for more than five seconds without being mobbed,” marveled Mike Welch, who plays Mike Newton. “If he’s in a room and he looks down and he looks back up, [in that instant] everyone in the room will be staring at him. It’s kind of ridiculous. [That level of fame] is literally Rob Pattinson and Barack Obama.”

“It’s so funny but it’s true,” agreed Christian Serratos, who plays Angela. “There’s a love for Rob, which is completely understandable. But despite all that, he’s still completely relaxed and completely laid-back. I don’t know how it’s possible, but he’s really just chill.”

As the days got closer to the release of “Twilight,” there were signs that Pattinson’s power over fans was reaching a Beatles-esque level. But when the “Twilight” cast recently went overseas for work on the sequel “New Moon,” they saw that the insanity has become even wilder.

“Italy was intense,” Ashley Greene marveled. “We literally all had two bodyguards and drivers, and we couldn’t walk and had to be driven around the set. It was because there were thousands of girls that came in from everywhere in the world to see [Pattinson]. … They would sleep over and stay the night outside our hotel gate. It was nuts.”

“Every second of Rob’s life is watched now,” Kellan Lutz added, saying that Rob has had to adjust some habits to handle the increased scrutiny. “I’m sure he’s careful for everything he’s doing.”

“I’ve talked to Rob about it, and he’s just paranoid all the time now,” Peter Facinelli revealed, admitting that the newfound fame does sometimes become difficult for his onscreen son. “Like, even to go down to the Starbucks, he’s ducking behind cars and does a roll-flip to the coffee shop. Then he gets up, and there’s nobody there — but then the one time that he doesn’t do that, that’s when there’s like 10,000 paparazzi jumping out of the bushes.”

“It’s hard,” agreed his onscreen wife, Elizabeth Reaser.

But still, despite a level of attention that has driven other celebrities (Britney, Lindsay, etc.) down some crazy paths in recent years, Rob’s “Twilight” stars insist that he hasn’t changed a bit.

“Rob cracks me up every time I hang out with him,” Lutz said. “He’s just such a great, easygoing guy.”

“[His fame] is always growing,” Cam Gigandet added. “But Rob is still Rob — which is a good thing.”

“He’s the same guy that I met before he was world-famous, which is just a really laid-back, quirky, funny British dude,” Welch grinned. “[But his notoriety] is crazy. I don’t know how he does it. I’m glad I’m Mike, dude.”

I now love these people.

Here's the article:

Seeing Twilight hunk Rob Pattinson getting swarmed by paps (and fans begging for autographs) at the airport the other day, one immediately flashes back to the late 90s when the same thing was happening to Leonardo DiCaprio after the monster success of Titanic…

Rob has arguably reached a level of global stardom even higher than Zac Efron! Whether it’s the film franchise or the actor himself is irrelevant: Pattinson has just as much international media coverage as Brangelina, Britney and Madonna these days.
